RESOLUTION NO. R-21-27
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE ANNUAL FEE RESOLUTION OF
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD REGARDING
PEDDLERS AND COMMERCIAL SOLICITORS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. R-20-28, the Village Board adopted its
Annual Fee Resolution for the 2021 calendar year ("Annual Fee Resolution'; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7-21 of the "Municipal Code of the Village of
Deerfield, Illinois, 1975," the Village Board sets the fees for peddlers and commercial
solicitors ("License Fee'; and
WHEREAS, Village staff has studied the amount the costs incurred by the Village to
issue licenses to peddlers and commercial solicitors; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that it would be efficient and desirable
to update the License Fee as set forth in this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board has determined that, this Resolution would serve and
be in the best interest of the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION ONE: RECITALS. The foregoing recitals are incorporated into, and
made a part of, this Resolution as findings of the Village Board.
SECTION TWO: AMENDMENT TO REGISTRATION FEE. The following
entry in the Annual Fee Resolution shall be, and it is hereby, amended as follows:

SECTION THREE: EFFECTIVE DATE. This Resolution shall be in full force and
