ORDINANCE NO. 0 -67 -37
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN
STREET IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Deerfield, after due investigation and consideration, have
determined that the nature and extent of the public use and
the public interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the
vacation of the street hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That that portion of North Avenue, a public street
ONE: in the Village of Deerfield, having heretofore
been dedicated by a document recorded in the
Office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, on
April 16, 1930, as Document No. 352651, which portion of said
street is legally described as follows:
That part of North Avenue lying Westerly of the East
line of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 29, Town-
ship 43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd P.M. and
lying Easterly of the center line of Waukegan Road,
as shown on and designated by the words "Hereby Vacated" on the
Plat hereto attached, which Plat for greater certainty is hereby
made a part of this Ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated
and closdd, inasmuch as same is no longer required for public
use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation.
SECTION That the Village of Deerfield reserves its interest
TWO: in all existing easements for public utilities in
the vacated portion of North Avenue.

SECTION That upon passage and approval of this Ordinance,
THREE: the Village Clerk shall file for record in the
office of the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County,
Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance, together with the
Plat hereto attached.
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
FOUR: conflict herewith, are, to the extent of such
conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
FIVE: effect from and after its passage, approval and
filing for record in the manner herein provided.
