ORDINANCE NO. 0 -67 -40
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deer-
field, pursuant to proper notice, has held a public hearing
upon the subject matter of a certain amendment to the Zoning
Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the said Plan Commission has recommended that
the corporate authorities amend said Zoning Ordinance as herein-
after provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK
COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
ONE: Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended,
be and the same is hereby further amended
by deleting the first paragraph of Section XVI, Subsection F.9,
and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
Size and Access: All off - street parking facilities
shall be provided with appropriate means of vehicular
access to a street or alley in a manner which will
least interfere with traffic movements. Driveway
widths shall be as specified in Article II, Section
11.205 of the Municipal Code. Each required parking
space shall open directly upon an aisle, or a public
alley in such a way as to provide safe and efficient
means of vehicular access to such parking space at
all times. In no case shall the dimensions of such
parking space or means of access be less than the fol-
lowing:
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
TWO: in conflict herewith, are, to the extent of
such conflict, hereby repealed.

SECTION That the Village Clerk is hereby directed
THREE: to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force
FOUR: and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication, as provided by law.
