AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND TO
THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, pursuant to a certain Annexation Agreement here-
tofore entered into by.and between the Village of Deerfield and
the Deerfield Park District, an Illinois municipal corporation,
and the First National Bank of Lake Forest, as Trustee-under
Trust No. 1208, certain owners of land, written Petition under
oath signed by the owners of record of all land within the terri-
tory hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk
requesting that said territory be annexed to the Village of
Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, no electors reside within said territory; and
WHEREAS, said territory is not within the corporate limits
of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Deer-
field.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES,
ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That all of the territory known and described
ONE: as follows:
PARCEL A:

That part of the southwest quarter of the southeast
quarter of Section 30, Township 43 North, Range 12,
east of the Third Principal Meridian, lying west of
the east 9 acres thereof and east of the east line
of the Illinois Toll Road Parcel T- 11 -A -50 and north
and east of Toll Road Parcel T -11 -A -50.3;

The east 9 acres of the southwest quarter of the south-
east quarter of Section 30, aforesaid;
also
The west 4.50 acres of the southeast quarter of the south-
east quarter of Section 30, aforesaid.
PARCEL B:
The east 10 acres of the west 20 acres of the south half
of the north half of the southeast quarter of Section 30,
aforesaid (except that part taken for Toll Road), all in
Lake County, Illinois,
which territory is shown on an accurate map attached hereto and
made part hereof, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village
of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois.
SECTION That the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield
TWO: is hereby directed to file in the office of the
Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois, a copy
of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory
hereby annexed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
THREE: effect from and after its passage and approval,
as provided by law.
