O-66-41ORDINANCE NO. 0-66- X4;1 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIATIONS FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE WITH RESPECT TO THE PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 663 WAUKEGAN ROAD, DEERFIELD WHEREAS, BULK PETROLEUM CORP, has petitioned for a variation from the strict provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended, to permit the con- struction of two driveways having a width of 35 feet each, to permit the erection of two signs in the required front yard, and one identi- fication sign having an area of 48 square feet in conjunction with the operation of an automobile service station at 663 Waukegan Road, Deerfield, Illinois; and WHEREAS, pursuant to notice duly published as required by statute, a public hearing on said petition was held and conducted by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Deerfield; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals has filed with the President and Board of Trustees its written findings of fact and recommendations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOL- LOWS: SECTION That the findings of fact and recommendation of the Zoning ONE: • Board of Appeals is hereby concurred in and adopted as the findings of fact of the President and Board of Trustees. SECTION That there are practical difficulties and particular TWO: hardship in the way of carrying out the strict letter of the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield as applied to the petitioner's property, the legal description of which is set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. A � 1 [ 2 1 SECTION That a variation from the strict provisions of Subsection THREE: A.5 of Section XVI and that variations from the strict provisions of Subsection B of Section XVII of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended, with respect to the property commonly known as 663 Waukegan Road, and the legal description of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby granted so as to authorize the construction of two-driveways having a width of 35 feet each, and the erection of two price signs having an area of 32 square feet each in the required front yard, which signs shall be constructed on separate supports, and the erection of an identification sign having an area of 48 square feet. SECTION 'That the variations hereby granted are subject to the FOUR. condition that there be compliance with all other appli- cable ordinances of the Village. SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from FIVE: and after its passage and approval, as provided by law.
