Be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield that:
Section seven of article eleven of the Building Code of the
village be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
117`Applications: Applications for building permit0shall be
made in duplicate to the Building Commissioner and shall be
accompanied by plans, elevations, critical sections and details drawn
to scale and specifiacti_ons so as to clearly show the metliod of

by the architect qag� acting for such owner. Additional
necessary information shall be submitted at the request of-the
Building Commissioner. This certificate shall be in the following
f orm :
Architect's Certification.
"I do hereby certify that these drawings have been prepared
under my direct supervision and to the best of my knowledge conform
to all codes and ordinances of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois."

No such certificate shall be required for remodelling done by
the owner not affecting bearing walls or supports nor for exterior
steps, walls, patios or exterior buildings.
During construction the architect or engineer in charge shall,
at the times indicated, submit a certificate substantially as follows:

The ordinance pertaining to inspection o7" supervision to be
amended to include the following certification to be signed and sealed
by the architect �er engineer who has certified the drawings for any
construction project:

representative of my firm has inspected the subject project at the
following-stages and find the construction in strict accordance with
approved permit drawings and specifications, and any deviations
therefrom as approved by the Village of Deerfield on file with
the Building Commissioner:
