AMENDMENT TO SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ORDINANCE FOR WILMOT ROAD.
WHEREAS an ordinance has heretofore been passed, known as
Ordinance No. �6 - / >"for an improvement known as WILMOT ROAD IM-
PROVEMENTS, and
WHEREAS it is to the best interest of the Village that said
improvement be completed without the construction of sidewalks,
although sidewalks were included in the plans and specifications
approved by said ordinance, and
WHEREAS said change will not increase the cost of the proposed
improvement, but will decrease the cost.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, that:
Section 1. Ordinance No.�A =%_, being an ordinance authoriz-
ing special assessments for a project known as WILMOT ROAD IMPROVE-
MENTS, is hereby amended by removing from said ordinance and from
the plans and specifications incorporated therein by reference, all
provisions for sidwalks.
Section 2, The President and Board of Trustees hereby find
that the statements in the preamble to this.ordinance are true.
Section L. The Village Attorney is hereby authorized to
file an amendment to the petition heretofore filed in the above
described special assessment matter, requesting completion of
the special assessment proceeding without sidewalks.
Section 4, The revised estimate for said special assessment
omitting the sidewalk work is hereby approved.
