ORD I NANCE
ANNEXATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, all of the owners of record and all of the electors
residing in the territory legally described as follows:
The West 3 acres of the North East quarter of the North East
quarter of Section 5, Township 42 North, Range 12 East of the
Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, except
that part described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter of
the Northeast quarter of Section 5; thence South.a distance of
1073.00 feet along the West line of the Northeast quarter to the
point of beginning; from the point of beginning thence South
along said West line of the Northeast quarter of said Section 5
a distance of 250.01 feet to a point; said point being a point
of intersection with a line forming an angle of 900 - 33' to the
left with the preceding line extended, thence along last described
line extended a distance of 99.0 feet to a point; thence North a
distance of 250.01 feet on a line parallel with said West line of
the Northeast quarter to a point; said point being a point of inter-
section with a line forming an angle of 900 - 33' to the left with
the preceding line extended, thence West along the last described
line extended a distance of 99 feet to the point of beginning.
have executed a petition requesting the annexation of the above described
territory to the Village of Deerfield, in the Counties of Lake and Cook and

State of Illinois, which said petition has been duly filed with the municipal
clerk of the Village of Deerfield as required by the Statutes in such case
made and provided; and
WHEREAS, the said petition states that the territory hereinabove

,described is not within the corporate limits of any municipality and that
said territory is contiguous to the Village of Deerfield and that the petitioners
include all of the owners of record and also includes all of the electors
residing upon all of the said territory and said petition has been duly made
under oath of the petitioners therein; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield in regular
meeting duly convened have examined the said petition and the facts therein
stated and hereinabove recited and have found the said facts to be true and in
proper form and substances and conforming to the provisions of the Statutes
in such case made and provided; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees in said meeting has determined that the
above described territory is property submitted to the municipal authorities
of the Village of Deerfield for the purpose of annexation according to the
provisions of the Statutes in such case made and provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, IN THE COUNTIES OF LAKE AND COOK AND THE STATE
OF ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the property or territ* described as follows:

Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
Section 3. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Deerfield in the
Counties of Lake and Cook and State of Illinois be and she is hereby authorized
and directed to file and record a certified copy of this ordinance together
with an accurate map of the above described annexed territory with the Recorder
of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
