O-59-52ORDINANCE
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Gierfleld, that:
Chapter V. Section 604 of Ordinance 41172, entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING
THE US, OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SEWERS AND DRAINS, PRIVATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL, THE
INSTALLITION AND CONNECTION OF BUILDING SEWERS, AND THE DISCHARGE OF WATERS
AND WAS`!S INTO THE PUBLIC SEWER SYSTEMS, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS
THEREOF" be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
11604. In mew subdivisions, no roof drain connections sha i l be made to any
storm or .smi tary sewer f rom and after the effects ve date of thl s ordi nance;
and 1 t sha I l be un 1 awsf u 1 to pe rml t wa to r f rom such d ra i ns to f 1 ow upon or ove r
private property other than the slto upon which the building Is located, or
easements. Footing drain ti le may, be connected to the storm or sanitary sewer,
or amy be corm -icted to a sump p and splash blocked.
