AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF; TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of Deerfield of
ONE: 1963, as amended, be and the same is hereby further
amended by inserting the following new Section 21.009a
between Sections 21.009 and 21.010 thereof:
1121.009a False Information_ -- Misuse of License.) It shall
be unlawful for any person to knowingly give false information or
falsely affirm or swear to any matter in the application for
1 license or obtain such license by fraudulent means or to display
upon a motor vehicle or motor bicycle a Village license plate or
sticker not issued for such vehicle or display a fictitious or
fraudulently altered vehicle license plate or sticker. The
Village Manager shall suspend or revoke „the license of any person,
firm or corporation who violates the provisions of this section,
and such suspension or revocation shall be in addition.to all
other penalties hereinafter provided."
SECTION That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
TWO: herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby
repealed.
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
THREE: and after its passage, approval and publication, as pro-
vided by law.
