RESOLUTION NO. R-19-26
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, Section 2.03 (Schedule of Meeting) of the Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/2.03)
requires units of local government to approve by Resolution their regular meeting schedule each year and
to make the schedule available to the public and any news medium that has filed an annual request for
notice of meetings in accordance with the requirements of the Open Meetings Act; and
WHEREAS; the Village Board desires to approve its regular meeting schedule for the 2020
calendar year as set forth in "Exhibit A," which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF
DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, as follows:
SECTION ONE: the foregoing recitals are incorporated into, and made a part of, this Resolution as the
findings of the Village Board.
SECTION TWO: The Village Board approves of its regular meeting schedule for the 2020 calendar
year, a copy of which is attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and made a part hereof.
SECTION THREE: The Village Board directs the Clerk, or his designee(s), to make this Resolution
available to the public and any news medium that has filed an annual request for notice of meetings in
accordance with the requirements of the Open Meetings Act

2020 MEETING SCHEDULE
Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield will be held on the first and
third Mondays of each month unless such a day falls on a recognized holiday.
All regular and special meetings of the Board of Trustees shall be open to the public unless
otherwise provided by law, in accordance with the Illinois Open Meeting Act.
An agenda for each meeting of the Village Board will be posted in the lobby of Village Hall and
the Village website, www.deerfield.il.us, 48 hours prior to each meeting, in accordance with
Illinois Open Meetings Act.
