ORDINANCE NO. 0 -66 -30
AN)ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.511
of Acticle V of CHAPTER 20 of
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways of.the Separtment of Public Works
and Buildings of the State of Illinois has conditioned its approval of
the use. by the Village of Deerfield of motor fuel tax funds for the improve-
ment of Greenwood Avenue on the prohibition of the paring of vehicles on
Greenwood Avenue in that area hereafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section 20.511 of Article V of Chapter. 20-of the Municipal
ONE: Code of the Village of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, be and
the same .is hereby further amended by adding the following:
"It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on Greenwood Avenue between
Wilmot Road and Waukegan Road at any time."
SECTION That this Ordinance shall be effective from and after the date
TWO: of completion of the improvement of Greenwood Avenue and the
Chief of Police is hereby directed, upon the completion of such
improvement, to post signs appropriately located giving notice that no parking
is permitted within the.area described above.
SECTION That this Ordhnance shall be in full force and effect from and
THREE: after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
