O-66-20ORDINANCE NO. 0 -66 -20 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD AND GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE (NORTH SHORE GAS COMPANY) . WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield, pursuant to proper notice, has held a public hearing upon the request of ithe':owner of certain property proposed to be annexed to the Village to zone or classify said property, which is hereinafter described, in the "M" Manu- facturing District and to grant and authorize a conditional use permit with respect to said property; and WHEREAS, the said Plan Commission has recommended that the President and Board of Trustees amend the Zoning Map of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Deerfield so as� to zone and classify said.property in the "M" Manufacturing District and to authorize and grant a conditional use permit as hereinafter provided; and WHEREAS, said property has been duly-annexed to the Village of Deer- field. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD-OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:. SECTION That the Zoning Map of the Village of Deerfield in- ONE: cluded and made -a part of the Village of Deerfield Zoning Ordinance, passed May 4, 1953,, as amended, is hereby further amended by zoning and classifying the-following described property in the "M" Manufactuirrng ^Di:striet: That part of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 4, Township 42 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the North:line' of said Section 4, said point being 479.37 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Section 4; thence Southc:pefpendi)cu: tar- .toc•the3NorthFIide :ofL!t;),1 .4aid Section 4, a distance of 367.79 feet to the center line of the Union Drainage Ditch; thence,Southeasterly along the center line of said ditch to a point on the North line of the lands conveyed for the Tri -State Toll Highway; thence Easterly.aong the said North line of the Tri -State Toll Highway to an intersection with the South line of the said North Half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 4 and the Westerly ringt -of -way line of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railway; thence Northwesterly along the said Westerly right - of -way line, a distance of 1456,31 feet to a point on the North line of said Section 4; thence Westerly along the said North line of Section 4, a distance of 1242.33 feet to the point of beginning-'­ (excepting the North 50.00 feet thereof) in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION That a permanent conditional use permit is hereby TWO!. granted authorizing and permitting the use of the property described in Section One hereof for a public utility facility and all uses normally and c6stomarily accessory thereto, including, without limitation, the following: 1. A service building for maintenance and administrative purposes; 2. Spur tracks; 3. The storage of liquified petroleum gas in large tanks, pipe racks, condensation tanks, water tanks, and related structures and facilities; 4. Outside storage of materials, oil; 5. Delivery point for natural gas, the odorization of natural gas, and the installation of related metering and measuring fac1l i ties; 6. Related facilities for c4erical personnel, servicemen and construction crews and other activities related to public utility operations; 7. A compressor operation using both steam and internal combustion engine driven compressors; 8. Outdoor storage of trucks, passenger cars and construction equipment; 9. A holder for the storage of natural, manufactured gas, or a mixture; 10. A radio antenna for the purpose of sending and receiving messages. SECTION That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect THREE: from and after its passage, approval and publication, as provided by law.
