O-66-14ORDINANCE NO. 0 -66 -14 Salary Amendment BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, that: ORDINANCE #200, entitled "AN.ORDINANCE CLASSIFYING AND GRADING POSITIONS IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD AND ESTABLISHING CORRESPONDING SALARY RANGES TO BE PAID THESE POSITIONS" is hereby amended as follows: Section III of the said ordinance is amended to read as follows: "III - Increases: Increases within a salary range shall be made on the basis of merit and service. All salaries shall be revi.ewed annually at the beginning of each f.iscal.`year.and increases may be authorized. The Village Manager shall have the authority to effectuate increases within the established salary range and at the steps provided, as shown on the attached schedule and made a part of this ordinance. 2. Section VII of the said ordinance is amended to read as follows: "VII - SALARIES, Ungraded and Unclassified: The annual salaries of the following ungraded.and unclassified positions shall be as follows: Village Manager $16,500 Chief of Police $11,000 Supt. of Inspections Building Commissioner $11,500 Treasurer; Finance Director $ 9,500 Supt. of Public Works $10,800 Village Clerk $ 1,500 Fire Marshals Casual Labor Crossing Guards Matrons $3.15 per hour $1.79 to $3.50 per hour. $1.75 to $,2.25 per hour $5.25 per hour,min. $10.50 3.
