O-66-13ORDINANCE N0, 0 -66 -13 AN ORDINANCE CANVASSING THE RESULTS-OF -A SPECIAL ELECTION HELD APRIL 23, 1966 WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of April, 1966, a special election was held in and for the Vi 1 lage of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, I 1 1 i no[s, 'for the purpose of submitting to the legal voters of said Village the question of the establishment and maintenance of a free public library in said Village, and for the election of six (6) persons as library directors; and WHEREAS, said election was regularly called and held and notice of said election was given as required by law, by publication of.the motice of said election in the Deerfield Review, being a secular.newspaper pub- lished in and of general circulation through said Village of Deerfield; and that the judges of said election were duly qualified and before entering upon their duties were duly commissioned as required by law, and that the returns of said election have been filed with the Clerk-of the Village of Deerfield, and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield has examined and canvassed -the returns of said election and are familiar therewith. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION That the Board of Trustees does find that the special ONE: election held on the 23rd day of April., 1966, was duly .called and held in all respects provided by law, and as provided in the ordinance calling sai.d election by publicaticgn of notice as aforesaid. That ballots were furnished in sufficient numbers at all times during said election and that the ballots used were in all respects a.s re-, quired by law. That the judges of said election were duly qualified and commissioned and did conduct said election as required by law. That the returns of said election have been filed and are now before this Board of Trustees and have bben examined by this Board of Trustees.
