IRE S O L U T I O N No. R -68 -22
WHEREAS, the Fourth of July is one of our most important
holidays, honoring the birth of our Nation as a free and independent power;
and
WHEREAS, the Deerfield Family Day Committee which is com-
posed of members of various organizations and service groups of the Village,
has worked for months and months to arrange a community -wide celebration;
and
WHEREAS, that kind of activity is of benefit to every resident of
the Village of Deerfield and provides great enjoyment for each of us:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and
Board of .:Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, " Lake and Cook Counties,
Illinois, that we express on behalf of every resident of the Village our
deep appreciation to each and every organization and individual who worked
on and participated in the outstanding celebration on Deerfield Family Day.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution
shall be sent to the Jaycees, the Lions, the Rotary Club, the Kiwanis Club,
the Chamber of Commerce, the Newcomers Club, the American Legion,
the Deerfield Women's Club, The Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts., Explorer Scouts,
the Deerfield Homemakers, the Historical Society, the Deerfield Garden

Club, the Deerfield- Bannockburn Fire .Department, the Police Department,
and the local Press.
