AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE AND MUNICIPAL CODE
OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Deerfield,
pursuant to proper notice, has held a•public hearing upon the subject
matter of certain amendments to the Zoning Ordinance and Municipal
Code of the Village of Deerf i e 1 d;.• and
WHEREAS, the said Plan Commission has recommended that the
corporate authorities amend said Zoning Ordinance and Municipal Code
as hereinafter provided.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS,
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION That Section XXI.I.A of the Zoning Ordinance of the
ONE: Village of Deerfield, passed May 4, 1953, as amended,
and Section 8.1001 of Article X of Chapter 8 of the
Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, be and the same are
hereby amended by striking the third paragraph of the former and the
second paragraph of the latter -in their entireties and substituting in
lieu thereof the following:
That one of the members so appointed shall at the time
of his appointment be named as Chairman by the President
with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. The
Chairman, or in his absence the Chairman Pro Tem, may administer
oath and compel the attendance of witnesses.
SECTION That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
TWO: herewith, are, to the extent of such conflict, Hereby
repealed.
SECTION That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
THREE: from and after its passage, approval and-publication,
as provided by law.
