AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 1, SECTIONS 2 -156 AND 2 -158 OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD OF 1975 TO
CHANGE THE NAME OF THE MANPOWER COMMISSION TO THE VOLUNTEER
ENGAGEMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 2 -156 (Establishment; Number of Members) and Section 2 -158
(Duties and Functions) of Chapter 1 (General Provisions) of the Municipal Code of the Village of
Deerfield of 1975, as amended, is hereby further amended by replacing all instances of "Manpower
Commission" with "Volunteer Engagement Commission."
SECTION 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet
form.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent
of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
