An Ordinance for the condemnation of land
for street purposes.
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees.of
the Village of Deerfield, that:
1. It is necessary and for the best interests of the
Village that the Village acquire the property known as:
The East 60 feet,of the South 233 feet of the
South East Quarter of Section 29, Township 43
North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Lake County, Illinois.
and that the same is necessary for the establishment of a street to
serve the residents of the Village.

2. Thomas A. Matthews and Byron S. Matthews are hereby
authorized, as attorneys for the Village, to institute appropriate
condemnation proceedings for the acquisition of this property by the
Village.
3. The Village has on hand funds available to pay the fair
and reasonable cost of the land'so acquired.
