(b) That during the ten day period following the publication of the Notice of Award of Contract, no election was made by the property owners concerned to accomplish such construction work, as provided in Chapter 24, Sec. 9 -2 -109 of the Illinois Revised Statutes of 1967. . (c) That on October 14, 1968, the President of the Board of Improvements and the Village Clerk executed a contract between the Board of Local Improvements and George W. Kennedy Construction Company pursuant to prior authorization of this Board. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, LAKE AND COOK COUNTIES, ILLINOIS: The execution by the President of the Board of Local Improvements of this Village and the Village Clerk, on behalf of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield, of a contract with the George W. Kennedy Construction Co. for the construction of the above mentioned local improvement at the price of $272,075.00 be and the same are here- by ratified and affirmed. DATED: October 21, 1968.
