O-65-08ORD I NPN CE NO. 0 -65 -8 1965 ELECTION ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the ViJ l.age 'of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, I l l i not s, that: Section-1. There shall be a regular election of officers in the village on the 20th day.of April, 1965. Section 2. At such election there shall be elected a Village President; a Village Clerk,,and.three Village Trustees for a four year term. The ballot to be used un such election shall be in fhe form pre- scribed by statute, and it shall be the duty of the Village Clerk to see'to the. preparation of sufficient ballots for the election, and to cause a sample of such ballot to be published prior to the day of election in a newspaper of general circulation published in the Village, and to be provided the necessary election supplies for each voting district or precinct. Section 3. At least fifteen but not more'6an thirty days before the election, the Clerk shall cause to be,published in such newspaper a notice of election, w h r: h shall be substantially as follows: NOTICE OF ELECTION On the 20th day of April•, 1965,,there will be a regular election in the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, to elect: A Village President,,a Village Clerk, and three Village Trustees for four -year .terms'. .The precincts and,polling places for such election shall be: PRECINCT NO. 1: All that part of the villageilying south of the center line of Deerfield Road and west of the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River (west drainage ditch). POLLING PLACE: Wilmot School Wilmot and Deerfield Roads PRECINCT NO. 2: All that part of the Village lying south of the center line of-Deerfield Road and east of the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River (west drainage ditch) . POLLING PLACE: Deerfield Masonic Temple 711 Waukegan Road PRECINCT NO. 3: All that part of the Village lying north of the; °6enter;'J4de of Deerfield Road and east of the Chicago,f'Milwaukee, St. Paul S Pacific R.R. right -of -way. POLLING PLACE: Deerfield Village Hall 850 Waukegan Road - PRECINCT NO. 4: All that part of the Village lying north of the center line.of Deerfield Road and • west -of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul Pacific R.R. right -of -way. POLLING PLACE: Maplewood School Clay and Alden Courts Polls shall be open from 6 A.M. to 6 P.M,, Central Standard Time. Published by order of the President and Board of Trustees. I. K. Section 5. The judges of election shall be such as shall be hereafter designated by the President and.Board of Trustees-to serve as election officials. Section 6. The said election and all matters pertaining thereto shall be conducted i.n the manner prescribed by statute for the conduct of a regular election for Village officers.
