O-64-511 ORDINANCE NO. 0 -64 -51 FOOTING DRAIN TILE CONNECTIONS BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, that: The'Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963, as amended, is hereby further amended by changing Section 24.409 thereof to read as follows: 24.409 Footing drains.) Footing drains shall-be required to be on exterior of basement or crawl space footings, or on interior adjacent to basement or crawl space footings. The minimum tile diameter shall be four inches. Tile outside footings shall be covered with twelve inches of gravel of crushed stone. Tile inside footings shall be covered with gravel or crushed stone to level of adjacent footings. Footing drains shall be connected to a sump pump. The,discharge pipe from the said sump pump may go to a splash block, or in the alternative may be connected to the storm sewer. Such connection to the storm sewer from a sump pump connected to footing drains shall be made in accordance with specifications approved from t'ime to time by the President and Board of Trustees.
