ANNEXATION ORDINANCE
Whereas, a petition has been received, signed by all. the owners
of record of the property described below, and
Whereas, said property is contiguous to the Village of Deerfield
and not in any other municipality, and
Whereas there are no electors residing in the said property:
Now therefore be.it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Vi l-lage of Deerfield, Cook and °.Lake Counties, Illinois, that:
The president and Board of trustees hereby find that the statements
iiin the preamble to the ordinance are true.
The following described property be and it is hereby annexed to the
Village of Deerfield:
Lot 10•in Downey's Cook County Country Home Addition to Deerfield,
a subdivision of part of the n6r th half of Section 4, Township 42 N.
Range 12 East of the 3rd P.M., in Cook County, Illinois, according to the
plat.thereof recorded July 27th, 1914 as Document No. 5464796, subject
to a grant to the State of Illinois dated December 14th, 1929 for public
highway purposes over the north seventeen feet of-said lot.
Said territory is shown on the plat hereto attached and made a
part of this ordinance by reference.
A certified copy of this ordinance shall be filed with the Recorder
of Deeds of Cook County.

The undersigned petitioner hereby respectfully petitions
to annex to the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, the
territory described as follows:

4. That your petitioner is the owner of all land
within the territory hereinbefore described.
WHEREFORE, petitioner respectfully requests the corporate
authorities of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, to
annex the territory hereinbefore described to the Village of Deer-
field, Lake County, Illinois, in accordance with the provisions of
Sections 7 -1 -8 of Chapter 24 - Cities and Villages of the Illinois
Revised Statutes as amended.
