ORDINANCE 0 -64 -38
ABATEMENT OF SEWER IMPROVEMENT
BOND TAX FOR 1964
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield, that:
The County Clerk of Lake County and the County Clerk of Cook County
are hereby authorized and directed to abate the tax of $15,000.00 for
Itbe payment of principal hitherto provided for and levied in the ordinance
providing for the issuance of FIVE HUNDRED TWENTY -FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($525,000.00) Sewer Improvement Bonds of the Village of Deerfield, Lake
County, Illinois, passed June 1, 1960, a copy of which is filed with the
County Clerks.
The Village of Deerfield has on hand sufficient funds to pay the
tax for the payment of principal levied by the above - described ordinance
for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 1964, and the levy of'the tax
provided for that purpose in the ordinance is.unnecessary. Therefore
the County Clerks are directed to abate and not spread the said tax.
