O-64-35ORDINANCE NO. 0 -64 -35 VILLAGE PROSECUTOR BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, that: The Municipal Code of Deerfield of 1963 be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto and inserting therein, following Section 5,204 thereof, the following: 5.205 Village Prosecutor.) The Village President, with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees, may appoint an attorney to prosecute ordinance violation cases in a magistrate's court. It shall be the duty of the prosecutor to handle all such prosecutions in that branch of the Circuit Court of Lake County and in that branch of the Circuit Court of Cook County assigned to hear and determine cases involving a violation of a village ordinance. The Village attorney shall assist such prosecutor upon request of the prosecutor. The prosecutor shall notify the village attorney of any notice of appeal served in connection with the imposition of any fine or other penalty for violation of a village ordinance.
