ANNEXATION ORDINANCE
Whereas, a petition has been received, signed by all of the owners
of ,record and there being no electors residing thereon i-n the property
described below, and
Whereas, said property is contiguous to the Village of Deerfield and
rot in any other municipality.
Now, Therefore, Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield, Cook and Lake Counties, Illinois, that:
Section 1. The President and Board of Trustees hereby find that the
statements in the preambles to this ordinance are true.
Section 2. The following described territory be and it hereby is
annexed to the Village of Deerfield:
PARCEL ONE as Lots 1, 2, e, 44, 45, 46 and those.parts of Lots 4,
5, 6, 41, 42 and 43 which lie East of the East right of way line
of the premises condemned for the Illinois Toll•Highway.by pro-
ceedings had in the Circuit Court in Lake County, Illinois, as
General-No. 65425 on judgment of taking entered Ju 1 y .25., 1957,
Vernon Ridge Country Home SUbdivision in the North Half of Section 31,
Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian,

PARCEL TWO, All of vacated Meadow Lane abutting on said Lots, Lots

Home Subdivision aforesaid and all that part of vacated Hawthoren Lane
which lies Easterly of the Easterly right of way line of Illinois Toll
Highway in Vernon Ridge Country Home Subdivision, aforesaid, in Lake
County, Illinois.
Section 3. A certified copy,of this ordinance, together with the
plat referred to herein, shall be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of

taking entered July 25, 1957, Vernon Ridge Country Home
Subdivision in the North Half of Section 31, Township 43
North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
according to the plat of said Subdivision recorded•June 25,
1924 as Document No. 241933 in Book "N" of Plats, Page 14,
in Lake County, Illinois.
PARCEL TWO, all of vacated Meadow Lane abutting on said Lots,
Lots 12 21, 35 4, 5, 6, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 and 46 in Vernon
Ridge Country Home Subdivision aforesaid and all that part

NOW COMES your Petitioner, TENNAQUA, a not for
profit corporation, incorporated under the Illinois Not
For Profit Corporation Act, and in its petition to annex
the territory hereinafter described to the Village of
Deerfield, Illinois, states!.'
1. That TENNAQUA;: is the owner of record of the
following described territory:
PARCEL ONE as Lots 1, 2, 3, 44, 45,
and those parts of Lots 4, 5, 6,
41, 42 and 43 which lie East of the
East right of way line of the premises
condemned for the Illinois Toll High-
way by proceedings had in the Circuit

territory hereinabove described be annexed to the Village
of Deerfield, Illinois, in the manner provided by Law.
