WHEREAS, an application for a permit has been submitted to Lake
County for the conduct of an auto storage- auction business on the premises
of the National Brick Company in West Deerfield Township; and
WHEREAS, the issuance of a permit for any sales on the premises
of the National Brick Company will tend to set a precedent for other sales
operations on nearby properties, with a detrimental effect on the orderly
development and use of the surrounding area:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, that:
The Village of Deerfield objects to the issuance of a permit for
the conduct of an auto storage- auction business or any sales operation,
whether retail, wholesale or auction, on the premises of the National Brick
Company in West Deerfield Township; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Mr. Bruce Frost, West Deerfield Town-
ship Supervisor, be requested to strenuously oppose the issuance of such
permit.
