BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield, that the Municipal Code of Deerfield of
1963 be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto and
inserting therein, following Section 9.119 thereof, the following:
119.110A. Deposit or escrow in lieu of bond.) A plat
of subdivision may be approved upon filing with the Village
Manager proof of the execution of a trust agreement or
escrow agreement showing that enough cash has been deposited
in a trust or,escrow fund, the proceeds to be used for the
installation of such improvement, in the amount estimated
by the engineer as the cost of the installation of such
improvement.
No subdivison plat shall be approved unless there has
been filed .a bond as descri.bed in the preceding section
9.119, or proof of an escrow or trust agreement in accord-
ance with the terms hereof."
