AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Ordinance of the Village
Of Deerfield and granting a conditional use to the Public
Service Company to permit the operation and maintenance of
an electric sub - station and construction of additional
capacity, and for such other conditions as are necessary
to -the operation of the Public ServiceCompany, a public
U utility.
WHEREAS, a public hearing on the question of zoning of the land
hereinafter described in the R -1 Residential District, in the event of
annexation to the. Village of Deerfield, and for a conditional use permit,
was held by the Plan Commission following notice duly published as required
by law, and with the recommendation of the Plan Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield that in the event that the'real estate,herein-
after described shall be annexed to the Village of Deerfield;
1. The zoning.classification of the said real estate, to�-;wit:
I_ot Ten (10) in Downey's Cook County Country Home,
Addition to Deerfield, a Subdivision of that part. �.
of the North Half of Section Four (4) , Township
Forty -two (42)'North, Range Twelve (12) East of the

shall be.and.is hereby declared to become automatically R -1 Residential.
2. A permanent conditional use permit will automatically be
granted to the Public Service Company to permit sue of the above described
real estate for all necessary operations'of the Public.ServicewCompa,ny,
such as operationaand maintenance of an electric sub - station, and such
other uses as are reasonablyynecessary to the present and future operation
of said Public Service Company; subject to all regulations of the R -1
District relating to height, lot coverage, side, front, and rear lot
requirements.
3• This ordinance shall be in.full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval, and publication, as required by law.
