ANNEXATION ORDINANCE
DEERFIELD
Whereas, a petition has been filed with the corporate
authorities of the Village of Deerfie•1•d praying that the property
described belwo be annexed to the Village of Deerfield, and
Whereas, said territory is not within the corporate limits of
any muni ci pa 1 i ty, and
Whereas, said territory has no-electors residing therein, and
Whereas, said - petition has been signed by the owners of record
of all land within said territory, and
Whereas, it is to the best interest of the Village of Deerfield
that the territory hereinafter described be annexed to the Village of
Deerfield.
Now, Therefore, Be It Ordained by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield that:
Section 1. The statements in the preamble to this ordinance
are found to be true.
Section 2. The following described territory, which is the
subject of the above described petition, which territory is.contiguous
to the Village of Deerfield and not in any other municipality, is hereby
annexed to the Village of Deerfield:
Section 3. The territory referred to herein is:
The East 295.93 feet (except the North 1172.0 ft. thereof)
of the S.E. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 of Section 30, Township
43 North, Range 12 East of the 3rd P.M. in Lake County,
Illinois, all as shown on the attached plat.
A certified copy of this ordinancesshall be recorded with the Recorder
of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois; as required by law.
