R-67-16RESOLUTION NO. 67 -16
WHEREAS, an application (identified as Z.A. #SU -67 -6) has
been filed for a special use permit to permit a sign to be
erected to a height of 65 feet on the property located on
the Southwest corner of Lake and Cook Roads and Skokie High-
way; and
WHEREAS, the Cook County Zoning Board of Appeals has
scheduled a public hearing on said application as Docket
No. 1217; and
WHEREAS, the land affected by said application lies
within one and one -half miles of the limits of the Village of
Deerfield; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees ofthe Village
of Deerfield are of the opinion that the granting of said appli-
cation would be contrary to the best interests of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, COUNTIES OF LAKE AND
COOK, STATE OF ILLINOIS, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION The Village of Deerfield, pursuant to Chapter
ONE: 34, Section 3158, Illinois Revised Statutes,
hereby official objects to said application and
the granting thereof.
SECTION The Village Manager is hereby instructed to
TWO: forward a certified copy of this Resolution to
the Cook County Zoning Board of Appeals and
to the Board of Commissioners of Cook County with the County
Clerk of Cook County.
