DEERFIELD
ORDINANCE NO. 0 -63 -13
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of April, 1963, the owners of record
of the real estate described as follows:
The East Half of the Northeast quarter of Section 31,
Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal
Meridian (except those parts thereof taken for highway
purposes (Toll Road) by deeds recorded under Document
Nos. 97,1548, 971550 and 971551) in Lake County, Illinois,
did cause a Petition to annex the said.territory to the Village of
Deerfield and .fi l.e said Petition with the Village Clerk of said Village;
and
WHEREAS, said property is.contiguous to the Village of Deerfield
and is not within any other incorpprated municipality, and no electors
reside thereon; and
WHEREAS, said Petition was in compliance with the statutes of the
State of Illinois and ordinances of the Village of Deerfield in such cases
made and provided for annexation; and
WHEREAS, upon examination of said Petition and plat of survey
duly filed with said Village, it is determined that it is the desire of
the President and Board of Trustees of said Village to annex said
territory to the Village of Deerfield,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois:
Section 1. .That by vittue of the powers conferred upon the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, the territory
hereinabove described is hereby annexed to the Village of Deerfield.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk is directed to cause a copy
of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map of the territory annexed
to be recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Lake County, Illinois.
Section 3. All ordinances heretofore adopted in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
Section. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after is passage and approval.

The undersigned, F. D. CLAVEY RAVINIA NURSERIES, INC., an
Illinois corporation; THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF LAKE FOREST, a
National Banking Association, Successor Trustee under the pro-
visions of a Trust Agreement dated December 14, 1929, and known
as Trust No. 372; GORDON E. CLAVEY, JOHN CLAVEY, W. JAMES CLAVEY
and BETTS REACH, being all of the owners of record of all of the
land in territory described as follows:
The East Half of the Northeast quarter of
Section 31, Township 43 North, Range 12,
East of the Third Principal Meridian (ex-
cept those parts thereof taken for highway
purposes (Toll Road) by deeds recorded under
Document Nos. 971548, 971550 and 971551) in
Lake County, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Deerfield, Illi-
nois, and not within the corporate limits of any municipality,
hereby respectfully request that said territory be annexed to the
Village of Deerfield, Illinois.
An accurate map of the territory and the legal description
thereof referred to is attached hereto and marked Exhibit 1.
