R-67-14RESOLUTION R -67- 14 BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, that: The Village of Deerfield hereby requests permission from the Division of Highways, State of Illinois, to close portions of Deerfield Road and Waukegan Road in the said Village on July 4, 1967, for an Independence Day parade, in accordance with the map and schedule attached hereto and made a part hereof. Village Clerk E r7 VD $ 0 - A on i r R E S O L U T I O N No. R -67 -14 WHEREAS, the residents of the Village of Deerfield are most appreciative of the enJoyment provided during the Family Day celebration on July Fourth; and Wf-IEREAS, the Family Day activities provide an opportunity for all residents of the Village to join together in community spirit and the joys of family life; and WHEREAS, the Deerfield Family Day Committee is composed of members of various organizations and service groups of the Village of Deerfield; and WHEREAS, it is not possible for each resident to express his individual appreciation to each person who contributed so much to this fine effort: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield, Lake and Cook Counties, Illinois, that the deep appreciation of the citizens of Deerfield is herewith declared to each and every organization and individual who worked on and participated in the exceptionally successfully arranged and completed celebration of Deerfield Family Day. BE IT FLRTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution shall be sent to the Junior Chamber of Commerce, the Lions Club, the Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, the Newcomers' Club, the American Legion, the Deerfield- Bannockburn Fire Department, the Police Department, and the local press.
