O-58-24)6 n ORDINANCE 0 -58 -24 WHEREAS, West Deerfield Township has enacted an ordinance stati,093 that it is convenient and necessary for it to use the property described in this ordinance for Township purposes, including the erection and maintenance of a building to house Township offices and the Township Library, NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield; Illinois, that: The Village hereby agrees to sell and convey all its rights, title and interest in the following described property, to -wit: "The North 75 feet of that part of Lot 4 in Block 2 in the Village of Deerfield, according to the plat thereof, recorded March 16, 1857, in Book 27 of Deeds, page 167, and of the 4lest half of the South West Quarter of Section 28, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd P.M., described as follows, to -wit: Commencing on the Easterly line of said Lot at a point 597 feet Northerly from the South .E'ast corner of Block 2 c".••-afordsaid; running thence Northerly along said Easterly line and said line produced 90 feet to a point 8 feet, Mortherly from the North Easterly corner of said Lot 4; thence West to a point on the West line of the South West quarter of Section 28 aforesaid., 8 feet North of the North West corner of said Lot 4; thence South along said Section line 90 feet; thence Easterly 329 and 3/10 feet to the place of beginning, in Lake County, Illinois" to West Deerfield Township, for a price of TWENTY -SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE- HUNDRED DOLLARS ($27,500.00). In connection with such sale the Village agrees to bring the property up to grade by filling the hole i:n the rear part of the premises; to build at its own expense a retainer wall along the west boundary of the property, and along the north boundary a distance of 125 feet more or less; and to improve the parking lot up to the south boundary of the property which will be conveyed to the Township. West Deerfield Township agrees that it will construct the proposed building in accordance with all ordinances of the Village; to maintain a set -back of 77 feet, more or less, measured along the North lot line from the enter line of Waukegan Road; to improve the parking lot within two years after the completion of the but1ding; and that the building will be so designed as to harmonize arch itecitura:l;iy with the Vi1Iage Hall. 1-' 1 F� This ordinance, when accepted by Wbst''Deerfield Township, shall constitute a contract between the Village of Deerfield and West Deerfield Township.
