ANNEXATION ORDINANCE
WHEREAS ;there has been filed with the Clerk of the Village of Deerfield,
a written petition signed by the owners of record of all the land hereinafter
described, and all the electors residing therein,-for the annexation to the
Village of Deerfield of the said territory hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS said territory is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality, is contiguousto the Village of Deerfield:
NOW THEREFORE,.BE, AND IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD, ILLINOIS that:
1. The following described territory be and the same is hereby annexed to
and

the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois:
That part of the North Half of Section:, Township 42 North,
Range 12, East of the Third Principal Meridian described as
follows: Commencing on the North line of saild Section 4 and
the center line of the State Road (Waukegan Road) and running
thence West on said North line 793.8 feet; thence Southeasterly
parallel to the Easterly line of the right of way of the Chicago,
Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad 1174 feet; thencc
East 813 feet; thence North 32.8 feet to the center of said State
Road, thence Northwesterly along said center line of State Road
1154.4 feet to the place of beginning, in Cook Countyip Illinois.
That part of the North West Quarte.r (NW1 /4) of the North East
Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 4, Township 42 North, Range 12,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying East of Public Road
which runs from Deerfield in Lake County to Shermerville in
Cook County, excepting therefrom that part of the North West
Quarter (NW 1/4) of the North East Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 4,
Township 42 North, Range 12, East of the Third Principal
Meridan, described as follows: Commencing at a point on the
East line of the North West Quarter (NW 1/4) of the North East
Quarter (NE 1/4) of said Section 4, 311.$7 feet South of the
North East corner thereof; thence South on the East iine of the
North West Quarter (NW 1/4) of said North East Quarter (NE 1/4)
711.45 feet to an; intersection with the center line of Waukegan Road;
thence Northwesterly on the centerline of Waukegan Road 630.78
feet to a point 518 feet Southeasterly of the intersection of said
center line with the North line of the North East Quarter (NE 1/4)
of Section 4; thence Northeasterly on a line at right angles with
the center line of said Waukegan Road 329.06 feet to place of
beginning, in Cook County, Illinois.
That part of the North West Quarter (NW 1/4) of the North East
Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 4, Township 42 North, Range 12,
East of the Third Printipal Meridian, described as follows:
Commencing at a point on the East line of the North,:.West'.:Quarter
(NW 1/4). of the North East Quarter (NE 1/4) of said Section 4,
311.87 feet South of the North Eatt Corner thereof; thence South

North East Quarter (NE 1/4) 711.45 feet to an intereection
with the center line of Waukegan Road; thence Northwesterly
on the center line of Waukegan Road 630.78 feet to a point 518 -
feet Southeasterly on the intersection of said center line with
the North line of the North East Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 4;
thence Northeasterly on a line at right angles with the center

2. The Village Clerk file a copy of this Annexation Ordinance together
with an accurate map of the annexed territory, with the Recorder
of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval as prbvi:ddd by-/.law.
