ORDINANCE GRANTING VARIANCE
t
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield, thats
The question of granting a variance from the terms of the
Zoning Ordinance as hereinafter described was referred by this Village
Hoard to a Commission consisting of the members of the Board of Zoning
Appeals for consideration; the said Commission, after due public notice,
held a public hearing on November.3, 1953, to consider the matter. The
Commission found that the property known as
646 Deerpath Drive
Lot 23, Westview°Subdivision
is owned and used by Mr. John C Koss for residential purposes, than
strict compliance with Section XVIII, Paragraph A.of the Zoning OrdiA
of the Village, insofar as.that section requires that an accessory
building may not be located nearer than five (5) feet to any interior
lot line and no closer than ten (10).faet "of.any vain building, w ould
cause undue hardship and would place the garage in e4 position which
would require a driveway unsuitable for safe and easy access and exit.
THEREFORE, 'the Board of Trustees hereby adopts the findings
of the Commission above referred to and grants a variance from the
terms of the Zoning Ordinance pe ting Mr. John J. Koss to construct
a garage on the said premises wit in two (2) feet of the side (South)
lot line and within nine (9) feet ok the house.
