A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Deerfield was called-to order by the President
C: M.- Willman at 7:30 P. M. for the purpose of awarding contract
for the furnishing of materials for the improvement known as
Arterial Street #3, Section 1 —C.S. from monies in the Motor
Fuel Tax Fund. I
Roll call— Present— Trustee Hertel, Palmer, Pottenger and
Stupple. Absent— Trustee.Peterson and Schneider.

Pottengerr that the bill inthe amount, of $97.22 for .Engilieering
Services'on Arterial Street No. 3, Sec. 1— A —C.S. as presented by
James Anderson Company be allowed.'

Moved by'- Trustee Hertel and seconded by Trustee' Pottenger
that we. pay Kapschull and - Company the , retained 10% for the
draining.and grading improvement on Arterial Street No..3, Sec. .
1— A —C.S. as we are advised that this improvement has been
accepted:by the.Highway. Department of the State of Illinois as
per letter from the_Engineers, James Anderson- Co..
Motion unanimously carried. Those voting "Aye" being Trustee
Hertel, Palmer, Peterson and Pottenger. Those voting ItNayn. being
None.
It was moved by Trustee Pottenger and seconded -by Trustee
Peterson that we continue the Deerfield State Bank as the
depository for '#he funds of the Village Collector, Florenge,E.
