Wing at 7 :30 P. M. Roll call resulted as follows. Present- Trustee Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Scribner and Willman. Absent - Trustee McKillip. The minutes -of our regular meeting held January 12, •1937 were read and approved. A*report from the Health Officer stated that there .were two scarlet fever, one chicken pox and one meningitis case in the village. A comparative report was given by the Chairman of the License'Committee with reference to the purchase of vehicle tags. c.. 2/9/36 2/9/37 Passenger..cars` $396.00 $882.50 .Trucks 30.00 138.00 426.00 M 20.50 A letter from the Evanston -North Shore Real Estate Board offering to "cooperate with our planning and zoning board in the enforcement of, and -the amending or changing of our planning, zoning and building codes was read and the clerk was instructed.to write and thank them for their offer. 260 Rules and By -Laws governing the Deerfield Fire Department "C were presented to the Board by Ralph Dunham, Chairmen of the By -Laws Committee and these were referred to the Fire and Police Committee a.ndrthe Corporation Counsel McGaughey for their approval. A- motion ,-fwas made by Trustee Scribner and seconded by Trustee Peterson that the Fire Department be authorized to purchase 6 Pair Rubber Boots- and 6 Raincoats for members 'of the Fire Department at an expense not to exceed $45.00. Roll call resulted as follows. . Yea.c- Trustee Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger, Scribner and Willman. Nays- hone. Motion carried. • FIVE YEAR STREET LIGHTING CONTRACT ACCEPTED. A five year contract was presented tote Board at our last regular meeting by the Public Service-Co.. of Northern Illinois to furnish street lighting in the-Village of Deer - field and was referred to the Corporation Counsel for his approval. This contract - having been approved as to form by Corporation Counsel McGaughey, it was moved by Trustee Peter - son and seconded by Trustee Tillman that this contract be accepted and the President of the Board be authorized to sign same and that it be attested to by the-Clerk. • Motion unanimously carried. Those voting, "Aye', being Trustee Palmer, Peterson, Pottenger,-Scribner and Willman. Those voting "Nay" being None.-, An ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance with reference to lots in Goldman's North Shore Golf Links Subdivision was read and-it was moved by Trustee Pottenger and seconded by Trustee Scribner that the same be passed. -•..1 Upon roll call the following.vote was taken. ORDINANCE AS ALTNDED; IN THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD$ LAKE e COUNTY, ILLINOIS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARDOF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD,:LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS. SECTION I. That the General Zoning Ordinance for the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois, and said ordinance as amended, be further amended as follows, to- wit:- That at the end of Section 3 in said ordinance and said ordinance as amended, there be added the following : - "Except also that a single family'dwelling_ with its accessory buildings may be erected on nny parcel of land hawing an area of not less than 6,500 square feet - situated in the following described subdivision, to -wit : - Goldman's North} Shore Golf Links Subdivision in the North-' of the Northwest 4 of Section 33, Township 43 North, Range 12, East of the 3rd P.
