A special meeting of the President and the Board of Trustees
of the Village pf Deerfield was called to order by the President
Harry E. Wing at 7 :30 P. M.
Roll call— Present— Trustee Peterson, Pottenger, Scribner
and Willman. Absentz Trustee McKillip. ,

WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield was on and prior to April
1st, 1935 indebted to various and sundry individuals, corporations
and accounts; and
WHEREAS) it is felt expedient and financially beneficial to
the Village of Deerfield to liquidate said claims under bond•issue
as provided in "An Act to authorize cities and villages and incorp-
orated towns having a_ population of 300,000 or less to issue bonds
for the payment of miscellaneous claims"; and
WHEREAS, divers and sundry of said.claims have not been allowed
or approved.
THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED that the following claims and accounts
past due as of April 1st 1935 be allowed, the same having been
proper claims and properly authorized for corporate purposes:

that the above resolution be passed as read.
The following roll call was taken : — Yeas— Trustee; Peterson,
Pottenger, Scribner and Willman. Nays -- None. Lotion carried.
An ordinance designating official time for the Villsne of
Deerfield, was read and discussed and action on-same will be
taken at the next regular meeting.
.._ The creating of a Fire District was also discussed and the
-matter was referred to Corporation Counsel McGauChey -and' the
Engineer James Anderson for furtherconsideration.
