U. Thy following responded to roll call : - Trustee'McKillip, Peter- son, Pottenger, Scribner and Willman. Absent— None. It was brought to the attention of the ,board that several ees- idents of Deerfield had not purchased vehicle tags for 1935. AA motion was;made by Trustee McKillip which was seconded by Trustee Peterson twat Chief of Police McLaughlin have warrants is- sued for the arrest of those resident automobile owners who did not purchase their City Vehicle Tags for the year 1935. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas— Trustee cKillip, Peter - son, Pottenger, 8cribner and Willman. Nays — None. 110tion carried. The Water Committee's report showed a decided decrease in viater loss over the previous month. The Police and Fire Committee chairman stated that $73.50 in fines viere collected during the month of December. FIELD HOUSE COAni AITTEE A letter received from Mrs. Lorretta Willman, Corresponding Secretary of the Deerfield Womans Club advised the Board that Mrs. W. B. 1jetcalf was appointed to represent them on the Field House Committee. The President with the consent of the Board appointed 71illiam D. SKATING RINK EXPENSES A motion was made by Trustee Scribner and seconded by Trus- tee Pottenger that see allow an expenditure not to exceed ij150.00 for ,expenses at the skating rink.. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeds- Trustee McKillip, Peter- son, Pottenger, Scribner and Willman. Nays- None. Izotion carried. A letter from Mr. E. A. Wood requesting a rebate on certain special assessments was read and referred to Corporation Counsel McGaughey. A- resolution designating the Deerfield State Bank and the First National Bank of Chicago as the depositories for..the' funds: of George J. Page, Treasurer and Comptroller of the:Village of Deerfield was read and it was moved by Trustee Scribner and sec- onded by Trustee Willman that the resolution be passed as re }d. Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- All. Nays- None. Motion carried. The following ordinance amending Section 3 of an ordinance entitled It An ordinance providing for licensing of vehicles and providing a, penalty for the violation thereof" passed August 6, 1923 was read-. 21 P, SECTION 1. That•Section 3 of an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance providing for licensing of vehicles and providing a penalty for the violation thereof" passed August 6, 1923, be amended by striking out the following: "Motor Vehicles of 35 H. P. or less, not used for commercial purposes $4.00 "; and in- serting in lieu thereof the following, to -grit: "Motor Vehicles of 35 Horse Power or less, not used for commercial purposes $3.00." 1 SECTION 2. All.ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. f SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force from t and after its passage and approval as provided by law.
