The matter of ppo donated to the Village of Deerfield
by'the heirs of Ambrose'kantavon, was discussed and the same was
referred to Trustees Stanger, Mercurio, and Village Attorney Seago.

'71HEREASt the term of the office of the Village Treasurer
terminates at the end of the fiscal year, and it is deemed advisable
,to increas the salary for the office of Village Treasurer,
NOW THEREFORE-i be axed it is hereby.resolved that, beginning
kth the fiscal year 1943 -1944, the salary.'for the office of Village
Treasurer be fixed at i ?60.00 -per month, until the further order of
President and Berard of Trusts.

Carlson at .7:00 - P.,11.- for -the purpose of canvassing the returns of the
election held April 20, 1043.
Roll call Present- Trustee .Cazel, - Mercario, Scott and Stanger.
Absent- Trustee Crush and - Benz.

Board shows the following number-,of-votes cast for the various

votes that they be declared elected:- Village Trustees for Four Year
Terms; Homer G. Cazel, George T. Scott and P. Allen Tennis, and for
Police Magistrate for Four Year Term; Dan Hunt.
