11/14/193958 It was moved by Trustee Cole and seconded by Trustee Crush that we authorize the expenditure of Twelve ($12.00) Dollars for bicycle tags for the Safety Patrol Boys and that these boys be inducted into office at our next regular meeting, November 14, 1939. The following bills were read by Trustee Cole, Chairman of the Finance Committee and it was moved by Trustee Cole and seconded by Trustee Cazel that these bills be approved for payment on receipt of proper funds. The Chairman of the Public Works Committee Trustee Cazel, reported that the Septic Tank on the West bide was now in good working order but that they were still having difficulty with the East Bide Septic Tank. A .request from the Sheridan Rifle and Pistol C1ub,Inc. for a permit to operate a small bore (.22 caliber) rifle and pistol range was read and a motion was made by Trustee Schneider and seconded by Trustee Pottenger that we issue a permit to the Sheridan Rifle and.Pistol IIlubTnc. to operate a small bore (not in excess of .22 caliber rim fire) rifle range and pistol range on property owned by Erwin B. Jordan, located west of the West Skokie Drainage Ditch and adjoining County Line Road and also that the permit be revocable at any time that the Board sees fit. Upon roll call the following vote was taken. Yeas — Trustee Cazel, Cole, Palmer, Pottenger and Schneider. Nays— None. -Motion carried. Trustee Homer Cazel, Chairman of the Deerfield Days Carnival requested Albert L. Roderick, Village Auditor to audit the cash records of Mr. Charles J. Turner,-TreasT;rer of the Deerfield Days Carnival. • • • • These records were found to be correct and the result of -the .three day carnival 'was as follows:—.
