Nays None* Motion carried* At this time Mr- Ile-Ile of the State Sanitary Slater Board was granted permission to address the Board members and the audience regarding the unsanitary_ conditions at our sewage treatment planted and stated that the Village must- take�sone- action to remedy this condition- • - - Trustee Engelhard made a motion which was seconded by Trustee Wilson that the following ordinance relative to zoning property lying North ` of Greenwood Avenue and South of North Avenue and between Chestnut Street and Stratford Road, be passed* Roll call resulted as follows. Yeas- Trustee Engelhardt Hinchaliff, Kings Meintzer and Wilson* Nays- Trustee Wynkoope Motion carried. Y EE IT ORDAIIM by the - President and Board of Trustees of the Village of,Deerfieldo that: It shall be unlawful to construct in the area hereinafter described any building for residential purposes of less than than the following prescribed sizes: For one story building, 900 square feet of usable living area computed by internal dimensions. For two story building, 1250 square feet of such usable area. No permit shall be issued for the construction of a building having less than the= foregoing established minimum area requirements on any premises lying south of North Avenue, and north of Greenwood. Avenue, between Stratford Road and Chestnut Streets excepting that this restrictionshall not apply to premises lying within 300 feet of Chestnut Street nor to premises abutting on StratfordRoad or Greenwood Avenue. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after Its passage and approval as provided by law* Passed this 16th day of October, 1951. APPROVED: A. G. After considerable discussion relative to police patrol at the various schools in the village, the matter was referred to the Police Committee and they are to meet with representatives from the several schools to find ways and means of solving a solution. 61
