DISCUSSION Fred Muscarella, owner of Harry's Grill,a
spokesperson for merchants located on the
east and west side of Waukegan Road north of Deerfield Road, asked
the Board for help in providing adequate parking space for their
customers and employees. Employee parking is a specific problem
since Deerfield Federal has initiated a 3 hour time limit
restriction at their parking lot. A suggestion was made that car
stickers be issued to employees of the merchants which would allow
them to park in certain areas all day. -Deerfield Federal will be
contacted to consider the employee sticker proposal. The Village
Staff was requested to find alternative options to this parking
problem and make some recommendations as soon as possible.
Trustee York announced that in celebration of his move to
Deerfield on April 1, 44 years ago, he wished to treat the Village
Board to "tea and cookies." The Board enjoyed the festivities.
