He reported that 5.7 inches of rain fell from Friday afternoon through Monday. Normally two and a half to three million gallons a day go through the treatment plant, but during the three day period, 34 million gallons were pumped. The Deerfield Road pumping station handled 3.8 million gallons and the Warwick station handled 5.2 million gallons. There were fewer problems experienced this time. Only 16 calls were received versus 40 to 50 calls when two inches of rain would fall in the past. In response to Trustee Swanson's inquiry, Mr. Franz advised that the Bannockburn reservoir was half full during the heavy rainfall. The maintenance and operation of the reservoir are in the hands of the contractor and the Army Corps of Engineers. There being no further business, upon motion of Trustee Seidman, seconded by Trustee Rosenthal, the meeting adjourned at 8:35 P.M. PROVED. Mayor ATTEST: QW6L Village Clerk -2-
