Dear Mrs. Price:
We are under the impression that the Village Board of Deerfield
filed-a resolution with the Land Acquisition Committee'of the Lake
County Forest Preserve Commission last year requesting that they-re-
designate the tract of 198 acres, just north of the Deerfield High
School, as a possible forest preserve site. :de understand that the
proposal is now in the hands of the Northeastern Illinois Metropol-
itan Area Plan Commission, at 72 tdest Adams, Chicago, for consider-
ation. It Mould be extremely helpful if the Village Board of Deerfield
would forward them a copy of this resolution, or perhaps one worded
more urgently, sending it to the attention of Mr. Tom Dykes, .
The High School Board of Education, District 7113, the Del
I.Iar Woods. Improvement Association, and others, . have made similar
requests of them. We believe that this is so.urgEn t that we hope
