01/04/1967[I M in d� W U U 177' 1st Presentation- Ordinance The first presentation was made of an ordinance Rebates on S/A 87 & 88 declaring rebates on Special Assessment Warrants Numbers 87 and 88. The ordinance was read in full. President Finney reported receipt of a letter of notification from the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers regarding a public hearing on water resources to 6e held February 2, 1967 at the Prudential Plaza, Chicago. A letter was read commending the Fire Rescue Squad for efficient service to a citizen. The letter will be sent to the Fire Department. President Finney read a translation of the Christmas greetings from the Village's sister city, Luedinghousen, Germany. Resignation- Trustee Smith President Finney read the letter from Trustee Effective Jan. 15, 1967 Smith submitting his resignation from the Board of Trustees effective January 15, 1967, due to his acceptance of a position in Cleveland. President Finney stated he accepted the resignation with reluctance and regret, and he and the Trustees expressed their appreciation for Trustee Smith's service to the Village. Trustee Smith stated that if there were anything he could do at any time he would welcome the opportunity. There being no further business to come before the meeting, Trustee Craig moved, seconded by Trustee Raff, that the meeting be adjourned to Wednesday, January 4, 1967 at 8 :00 p.m. Motion carried unanimously, and the meeting adjourned at 10 :05 p.m. ATTEST: Village Clerk APPROVED: President January 4, 1967 The adjourned meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Deerfield was called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on Wednesday, January 4, 1967 at 8 :20 p.m. The clerk called the roll and reported the following were Present: H.
