and effect, requested this Board of Trustees "to designate a bank. or banks,
or other depository, in which.funds and moneys in his custody may be deposited.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Board of Trustees

be discharged from responsibility for any such funds or moneys so deposited; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that no bank herein designated as a depository -'
shall be qualified to receive such funds or moneys until-it has furnished the
Board of Trustees with copies of the last two sworn statements of resources
and liabilities which such bank is required to furnish to the Auditor of 'Public
Accounts, or to the.Comptroller of Currency; -and.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that each bank designated as a depository for
such funds or moneys shall furnish the Board of Trustees with a copy of
all bank statements which it is.required to furnish to the Auditor of Public Ac-
counts, or to the Comptroller of Currency, while acting as such depository; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that if such funds or moneys are deposited in any
bank herein designated as a depository, the amounts of such deposits shall not ex-
ceed seventy -five percent of the capital stock and surplus of such bank, and the
Village Treasure r shall not be discharged from responsibility for
any such funds- or moneys deposited in an;L-bank in excess of such limitation.

WHEREAS the Village of Deerfield has submitted recommendations for
zoning of the National Brick Company and Sheridan Gun Club properties adjoining
the said Village; and
WHEREAS zoning classifications proposed by the owners of the said
properties include Business and 1 -1 industrial classifications, with no
residential zoning for any part of the tract; and
WHEREAS the westerly part of the tract adjoins; property in the Village
which has been developed with attractive residences in the $30,000 - $35,000
price range;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield that the Village opposes the classification of
that part of the National Brick Company and Sheridan Gun Club properties
which lies west of Pfingsten Road extended as a Business and /or industrial
district; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be sent to the
Hon. Garfield Leaf, County Clerk of Lake County, to the Hon. Karl Berning,
Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors, and to the Hon. John F. Williams,
Chairman of the Zoning Committee of the said Board of Supervisors.

RECOMMENDATION AS TO WESTGATE IMPROVEMENTS
BY SPEC IAL ASSESSMENTS
To*. PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
VILLAGE OF DEERFIELD
The undersigned, being the members of the Board of
Local Improvements heretofore appointed and now serving
in that capacity herewith submit a draft of an ordinance
for an improvement on Westgate Road from the east edge of
the existing pavement return on Warrington Road to the exist-
ing pavement on Westgate Road and from the west edge of the
existing pavement on Oxford Road to the existing pavement
on Westgate Road, by grading, draining, and paving with
macadam and bituminous wearing surface, including curb and
gutter, sidewalks, and storm sewers, all in the Village
of Deerfield, County of Lake and State of Illinois.
We submit herewith an estimate of the cost thereof
by the Prdsident and Board of Local Improvements; said esti-
mate includes the cost of engineering and inspection and the
cost of making, levying, and collecting a special assessment
therefor.
We recommend the passage of the said ordinance and the
making of said improvement, the cost thereof to be paid for
by special assessi;en.ts.

WHEREAS, the owner of Lot 1 in J. S. Hovland Is First
Addition to Deerfield, being a Subdivision of part of the
Southwest quarter of Section 32, Township 43 North, Range
12, East of the 3rd P.M. according to the plat thereof re-
corded November 7, 1924 as Document 248380 in Book, "N" of
plats Page 56, in Lake County, Illinois, desires to have
apportioned the presently existing installments of Special
Assessment No.90, for the installation of trunkline sewers
and treatment plant, grading and paving and water mains
so that each parcel of said Lot shall bear its just and
equitable proportion thereof and has presented to the vill-
age of Deerfield, Illinois, a petition therefor, in accord-
ance with and as provided by Section 371 of Chapter 120 of
the Revised Statutes of Illinois, 1959, entitled "Revenue ".
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees cif the village of Deerfield, Illinois,
that the prayer of the petition be granted and said proposed
reapportionment be and it is hereby approved.

1. IRENE A. LANGE is the owner of Lot 1 in J. S. Hovland's
First Addition to Deerfield being a Subdivision of part of the
South West quarter of Section 32, Township 43 North, Range 12,
East of the 3rd. P. M., according to the plat thereof recorded
November 7, 1924 as Document 248380 in Book "N" of plats, page 56
in Lake County, Illinois.
2. That said lot is subject to the lien of Special Assessment
Docket No. 90 levied by the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, for
Trunkline sewers and Treatment plant, Grading and Paving and Water
Main which was confirmed by the County Court.
3. That the amount of each installment and the year for
which due, as shown by the assessment roll as filed and confirmed
by said County Court against said lot is as follows:

4. Your petitioner, as such owner, and as provided by
Section 371 of Chapter 120 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, 1959,
desires to apportion the assessment affecting said real estate and
the several installments thereof in such manner that each of the

BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Local Improvements
of the Village of Deerfield, Illinois, that: °
Section 1. It is to the best interest of the
Village that the special assessment for Wilmot Road
Improvements be amended by removing from said project
all reference to sidewalk construction.
Section 2. The revised estimate which eliminates
all reference to sidewalks and the proposed amending
ordinance presently on file with the Village Clerk are
hereby approved. This Board recommends that spid
amending ordinance be passed and that the project be

completed without the construction of sidewalks.
