A meeting of the Board of Local Improvements of the Village of Deerfield was
called to order by the President in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall on
Monday, September 16, 1968 at 8:35 p.m. The secretary called the roll and reported
that the following were
Present: H; Ross Finney, President
Charles R. Bootz
Raymond L. Craig
Bernard Forrest
George Kelm
Charles H. Raff
George P. Schleicher
Absent: None
and that a quorum was present and in attendance at the meeting. Also present were
Messrs. Richard Houpt, Village attorney, and Norris Stilphen, manager.
Mr. Bootz moved, seconded by Mr. Schleicher, that minutes of the meeting of the
Board of Local Improvements held September 4, 1968 be approved as submitted. Motion
carried unanimously.
Public Hearing- Hertel Ln. No property owners were present to oppose or approve
Supplemental S!A 106 a supplemental assessment for Hertel Lane improve-
ments, Special Assessment No. 106, all owners having
been notified of the date and time of the hearing, as prov1ded by law.
Adherlbg. Resolution Mr. Forrest moved, seconded by Mr. Schleicher, that
Hertel Ln. Supplemental the Adhering Resolution be adopted approving the
S/A 106 supplemental estimate of costs of the Hertel Lane
Improvement, Special Assessment No. 106. Adopted
by the following vote:
Ayes: Bootz, Craig, Forrest, Kelm, Raff, Schleicher (6)
Nays: None (0)
The President and all members signed the Adhering Resolution.
Recommendation - Ordinance Mr. Schleicher moved, seconded by Mr, Kelm, that the
Hertel Lane Improvements Board of Local Improvements recommend the adoption
S/A 106 Supplemental S/A of an Ordinance amending the Ordinance providi;dg
for the improvement of Hertel Lane, Special Assess-
ment No. 106, with a Supplemental Estimate of Cost. Adopted by the following vote:
Ayes: Bootz, Craig, Forrest, Kelm, Raff, Schleicher (6)
Nays: None (0)
The President and all membbts signed the recommendation.
There being no further business to come before the Board of Local Improvements,
on motion by Mr. Forrest, seconded by Mr. Bootz, the meeting was adjourned at 8 :40 p.m.
