BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Beard of Trustees of the. Village
of Deerfield, that:
The following corporate sureties or bonding companies are approved
for bonds flied with the Village of Deerfield to insure the completion
and maintenance of improvements.

AND WOODMAN, CIVIL AND SANITARY
ENGINEERS TO MAKE A DETAILED
STUDY OF THE FEASIBILITY OF PRO-
VIDING AGROUND STORAGE RESERVOIR
AND AUTOMATIC WATER PUMPING FA-
CILITIES AT.THE VILLAGE HALL
PROPERTY FOR THE VILLAGE OF DEER -
FIELD, LAKE COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois de-
sires to have Richard M. Baxter and Lorrin E. Woodman doing,busi-
ness as Baxter and Woodman, Civil and Sanitary Engineers"continue
and expand their study of the Village's Water Supply and Distribu-
tion System prepared under the terms of the Articles of Agreement
dated December 10, 1956 to include a detailed study of the feasi-
bility of providing a ground storage reservoir up to two million.
gallons capacity with automatic pumping facilities and standby
equipment at the Village Hall property as a means of supplying
water to the Village of Deerfield from the Highland Park water
system,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield, Lake County, Illinois that Baxter and
Woodman, Civil and Sanitary Engineers be and they are hereby in-
structed to proceed with this additional study. The professional
engineering services required for said study shall be performed
at the Engineers' per diem rates up to but not exceeding eight
hundred dollars ($800.00).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be and re-
main in full force and effect from and after its passage.

FIRST RESOLUTION BY BOARD OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENTS
FOR PAVING HAZEL, WAYNE, and t' JU-0141 AVENUES
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Local Improvements of the
Village of Deerfield that:
A local improvements shall be made in the Village which shall
consist of an improvement in Hazel.Avenue from the west edge of
the existing concrete pavement on the east side of Wayne Avenue to the
east bank of the west fork of the north branch of the Chicago River;
Wayne Avenue from the south edge of the proposed pavement in Hazel to
the north bank of the west fork of the north branch of the Chicago
River; and in Holly Avenue from the east edge of the proposed pave-
ment in Wayne Avenue to the curb returns on the west edge of the pave-
ment in Woodward Avenue, by grading, draining, and paving with
macadam and bituminous wearing surface, including curb and gutter and
sidewalks.
The nature, locality, character, and description of such
improvement and the estimated cost thereof shall be as set forth
in the notice of hearing heretofore prepared and made a part of
this resolution. This board does hereby approve the estimate
made by the President of the board as to the cost, .attached hereto.
There shall be -a public hearing on the question of making
this improvement on the 11th day of March, 1959, at the hour of 8 P.M.
o'clock, in the village board rooms in the village hall, and
notice of such hearing (which shall be not less than ten days
after the adoption of this resolution) shall be sent by mail
directly to the person who paid the general taxes for the last
preceding years on each lot, block, tract, or parcel of land
fronting on the proposed improvement not less than five days prior
to the date set for hearing as required by law.

RESOLUTION
Hackberry Road Bridge
WHEREAS in the interests of public safety and convenience a
bridge is needed across the West Fork of the North Branch of the
Chicago River at Hackberry Road; and
WHEREAS THE Village of Deerfield has-insufficient funds to
pay the complete cost of construction of said bridge;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of
the Village of Deerfield that the County Board of Supervisors of
Lake County be requested to participate in the cost of constructing
a bridge across the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago_
River at Hackberry Road.

the cost of construction of said bridge;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Deerfield, that the County Board of Supervisors of Lake
County be requested to participate in the cost of constructing a
bridge across the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River
at Wilmot Road in the Village of Deerfield

RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Deerfield that the jurisdictional map of the unincorporated area lying within
one and one -half miles of said Village is hereby adopted and made a part of the
Official Village Plan, originally adopted March 8, 1954; and the Village Clerk

is hereby directed to file a copy of said map with the County Clerk, the County
,'Reoorder and the Zoning Committee of Lake County and of Cook County.
